I'm so grateful to be teaching music at Pella Christian Grade School!  I teach general music classes to grades kindergarten through fifth grade.  In grades 6, 7, and 8 we meet as choirs, and each student in grades 7 and 8 also takes a music exploratory class daily for 9 weeks.  This year I am also blessed with the 7-8 grade band.  What an adventure!

I am director of music at 2nd Reformed Church in Pella; I direct the adult and children's choir and play organ for worship each Sunday.  Other instruments I enjoy playing are piano, saxophone, harp, recorder, cello and viola.  My music education degree is from Central College; I also have a graduate certificate in sacred music from Drake University.

My husband Dale and I have three adult children and four grandchildren.  Life is good.
