Spanish Immersion Point Person

I'm thrilled to be starting my fifth year as the Point Person for PCGS's Spanish Immersion Program!  This will be my sixth year at Pella Christian, having worked for one year as the Spanish Immersion Reading Support Teacher and for four years as Point Person.   I hope to help the Spanish Immersion Program grow, support both the Spanish Immersion teachers and parents, and most importantly make sure that each child in our program is challenged "to develop their individual God-given gifts for a life of service in God's kingdom."  I believe by teaching our students Spanish, we are providing them with just one of many tools that can be used for this life of service.

I am married to Rogelio Gómez and am the proud mother of Aarón (6th grade Spanish Immersion) and Kyara (3rd Grade Spanish Immersion).  This will be our seventh year living in Pella.   As a family, we enjoying traveling, especially going to México to visit family and friends each summer.  We also enjoy eating Mexican food and reading together.

Please, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you might have about the Spanish Immersion Program or your child's unique needs.  I am always ready to help!  I ask that you pray for the Spanish Immersion Program and its teachers and students, as well as, all of the PCGS community.  Please pray that we "may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that [we] may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that [we] may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians 2:2-3
