I love teaching the preschoolers at Creation Station. God has blessed me with a wonderful teaching staff and supportive families in the Pella Community. Each day is a new adventure as we explore and discover the world God created and the children develop the skills needed to go to their next learning step.
In addition to teaching, I am also the director for the preschool and One to Grow On classes. I work with the Early Literacy Mentoring Association (ELMA) in Pella. I am a member of the Friends of the Library and a volunteer for Hospice. I have membership with the NAEYC. I serve on several school and church committees.
My family and I live on a farm outside of Pella. We have over 800 acres of crops and raise more than 500 hogs each year. We are an active 4-H family and exhibit at the county and state fairs. We enjoy riding our bikes on the trails near Lake Red Rock and watching old TV shows. My hobbies include reading, baking, walking, shopping, and having lunch or coffee with friends.
Daily quiet time and Bible study are so important to me. Philippians 4:13 is a promise I cling to every day.
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
