My name is Katie Verhoef. This is my fourth year at Pella Christian Grade School. I have previously taught in Redlands, CA, at Redlands Christian School for 12 years. I graduated from Calvin College with my degree in elementary education and further pursued a Master's degree in curriculum and development through the University of Phoenix. 

In 2005, I married my husband Joel. We have three children: Eden (9), Owen (8), and Lainy (5). They all attend Pella Christian Grade School. 

When I'm not teaching, I keep busy with many other things. I love spending time with my family. Running, swimming, playing the piano, and reading a good book are some of my other favorite things!

I am excited and privileged to teach at Pella Christian Grade School this year. I look forward to challenging students to develop their individual God-given gifts for a life of service in God's kingdom.
